Changing grades or going to a new school for the first time is exciting, but it can also cause stress and anxiety for children. Talking about the new grade or school and what things will be like there helps ease that anxiety. Students entering Kindergarten have the opportunity to visit the school several times starting the year before they enter Kindergarten. Students who are going to grade 5 at Marshview usually visit the school in the spring with their teacher. You might find the stories below helpful to read over the summer months to prepare your child for the next grade. Please feel free to download and print the stories!
